Het houten kampeerhuis Noorthey wordt na de oorlog ingericht als opvanghuis voor kinderen van opgepakte NSB’ers. Later komen daar ook andere kinderen bij. Ada de Lange is er kinderverzorgster. Hannie van Wilgenburg-Peperwortel is 9 jaar oud als ze direct na de oorlog in Noorthey wordt opgevangen. Haar verblijf daar heeft een haast ongelooflijke achtergrond.
