In de lente brengen kieviten leven in de brouwerij en heel wat eenden nestelen in het broek. Zelfs slobeend en zomertaling, twee kieskeurige eenden, vinden hier een uitgelezen broedgebied. Tegen de zomer zakken heel wat jonge reigers af naar de rustige weiden.
Je hoort nu de levendige roep van de kievit.
