Hier is een voetgangersbruggetje over het water. Let op de Weidebeekjuffers boven het water. Aan de overkant ligt een voedselarm droog grasland met Zandblauwtje, Duizendblad, Hazenpootje, Biggenkruid en Kattendoorn. Hier groeit ook het zeldzame Kaal breukkruid. Let verderop in het bos langs het riviertje in het vroege voorjaar op Bosanemoon en Bosgeelster. Let ook op het landschap: links de grootschalige ontginningen van de vroegere natte heidevelden en links het beekdalbos.
Fiets verder langs het fietspad langs de rivier. Bij de boomkwekerij rechtdoor, fietspaadje volgen.
