Let in het voorjaar op vogels van oud bos, zoals Boomklever, Boomkruiper, Holenduif, Grote bonte en Zwarte specht. Onder de beuken langs het pad veel interessante en goed te herkennen paddenstoelen: Grijsgroene melkzwam, Schaapje, Regenboogrussula, Heksenboleet, Parelamaniet en Gele knolamaniet. Op oude, halfdode Beuken: Platte tonderzwam, Tonderzwam, Porseleinzwam en Oesterzwam.
