Wandeling door het zuidelijke Geuldal, punt 2
Aan de linkerkant rijzen de hellingen op van het Vijlenerbosch. Op de glooiingen langs de Geul liggen op sommige plekken hooilanden die gevoed worden door grondwater dat langs deze helling naar beneden stroomt. Hier vind je Dotterbloem, Bosbies, Moerasrolklaver, Moerasspirea, Grote kattenstaart en soms Adderwortel.
Verder steeds het voetpad langs de Geul volgen totdat je bij de asfaltweg naar Epen komt.
