Molen de Eersteling is een bezoek waard. De molen is als windmolen tot omstreeks 1930 in bedrijf geweest. Oorspronkelijk stond de molen in de Parklaan in het centrum van Hoofddorp, wat zijn weerslag had op de windvang. Door toenemende bebouwing werd letterlijk de wind uit de zeilen gehaald. De stilstaande molen kwam in verval. De gemeente heeft de molen aangekocht en verplaatst naar de huidige plek. Na restauratie eind 1977 is de molen weer in bedrijf en zijn er producten te koop.
Vanaf de damsluis rechts de Hoofdweg op en neem de eerste weg links naar het Fort Hoofddorp.
