Stadsherstel Amsterdam heeft de Batterij aan de Sloterweg hersteld (kruising Rijnlanderweg) en ook de oude munitiebunkers en kazematten van de Stelling van Amsterdam op de Geniedijk. Sinds juli 2018 is deze plek een creatieve broedplaats geworden met ateliers voor kunstenaars. In de Batterij zijn regelmatig openbare exposities te bezoeken.
