Steek na de damsluis de Hoofdweg over en vervolg de route rechtdoor. Hier fiets je langs de ‘Iepenroute’. Op dit stuk staan wel tien verschillende soorten iepen, elk met een eigen naambordje. Deze zijn aangeplant na de kap van de oude populieren.
Aan het einde rechts en bij de rotonde links. Vervolg het fietspad langs het water en ga aan het einde hiervan linksaf richting Wandelbos Hoofddorp.
