Bij de T-splitsing gaat u links.
Recht achter de T-splitsing hadden de Duitsers in de oorlog een schip nagemaakt waarop zij met hun bommenwerpers konden oefenen. Ze deden dat met bommen van cement. Zo’n cementen bom is nog te zien bij de ingang van de Veldschuur, het bezoekerscentrum van Staatsbosbeheer aan de Maarsbergseweg.
Van het namaakschip is inmiddels niets meer over.
