Het heuvelachtige terrein rechts van het pad wordt gebruikt als oefenveld voor mountainbikers. Het is oorspronkelijk stuifzand, vandaar de heuveltjes. Maar door te veel stikstof zijn ze begroeid geraakt.
Links is de schaapskooi. Blijf rechtdoor gaan tot de huizen en sla daar linksaf. U bent dan alweer bijna terug bij de receptie.
