U nadert nu een T-splitsing. Daar gaan we rechtsaf. In het bos achter de T-splitsing staan een paar hoge eikenbomen. Uit oude beheerskaarten blijkt dat deze bomen in 1898 zijn geplant. Ouwe jongens dus, die het op deze plek heel erg goed doen.
