Op deze locatie staat u bij een historisch interessant punt. Kijkend naar het water ziet u eerst de nevengeul en er achter de rivier de IJssel. Achter u ligt het Engelse werk, een prachtig park dat is aangelegd op een voormalige verdedigingslinie. Naar rechts stroomafwaarts,is richting Kampen. Naar links, stroomopwaarts, is richting Deventer.
Routebeschrijving: U fietst stroomopwaarts over de Schellerdijk via kp 92 en kp 17 richting kp 18. Wanneer u de aanduiding ziet; u nadert knooppunt 18, staat aan de linkerzijde een houten bank. Dit is het eerste afstappunt; nummer 2 Schelleruiterwaard.
