Natural gardens Slatuinenweg Between numbers 43 and 47 on the Slatuinenweg lies the entrance to a secluded paradise. Once upon a time a small park called "Het Wilhelminaparkje" was situated here. From the 80' s onwards this park was not maintained anymore. This allowed nature to grow into a beautiful wilderness. Somewhere in the early 90's the people living in the neighbourhood decided to restore the small park. They wanted to keep the wilderness feel to it, the work resulted in a gorgeous natural garden with a social and educational purpose. The park is still maintained by the people living in the neighbourhood and is opened to the public according to a schedule. One can visit the park on thursdays between 10 am and 4 pm and every first Sunday of the month after 1 pm.
