In de jaren '80 is het verkeer rond het Da Costaplein in andere banen geleid, wat heeft geresulteerd in dit schattige plein te midden van de woonbuurt. Een groen dotje in de stad, waar de buurt zo tevreden over is, dat er ooit besloten werd om het niet aan te vullen met een kunstwerk.
