Route Mammoet sluit aan op route Kikker van Grenspark Kalmthoutse Heide. Parkeer bij Natuurpoort de Volksabdij en volg vanaf hier ongeveer 2 km de route Kikker. Vervolgens kom je vanzelf op route Mammoet. Je kunt ook wandelend naar route Mammoet vanaf één van de entrees. De route wordt aangegeven met paaltjes met een mammoet erop.
Toegankelijkheid: Voor wandelaars, honden aan de lijn. Het losse zand op delen van de paden is helaas niet geschikt voor rolstoelen en kinderwagens.
