Op deze dag begeleidt de Maas je van de binnenstad van Venlo naar het zuidelijkste puntje van Nationaal Park de Maasduinen. De wandeling voert je door bossen, langs vennen, over stuifduinen en door kleinschalig akkerlandschap. Vlak langs de Duitse grens loop je een stukje over het Smokkelpad van IVN Maasduinen. Je overnacht in een Trekkershut bij Camping Boszicht in Lottum.
